Leadership
Led by an 9-Member team of dedicated and visionary Directors; PHCS is today the marvel of other investment co-operative societies in the region.
At the apex of Parliamentarians housing Governance structure, stands the Annual General Meeting (AGM) which elect amongst themselves members of the Board of Directors who help formulate the Society’s policies that drive its business.
The Chief Executive Officer and his Operations Team who are mandated to oversee the day to day operations of the society with a view to meeting and exceeding the membership needs and requirements as stipulated by the Society by-law
Objectives
PHCS is guided by key objects amongst them being:
- To invest members’ contributions in prudently identified ventures in order to maximize the return on their investment.
- To Purchase, lease or in exchange, hire or otherwise dispose of the society’s building(s) and other properties as necessary.
- To borrow money or receive money on deposit either with or without security or secured by debentures, mortgages or other security charged on the undertaking or on all or any of the asset of Society
- To provide for its members living accommodation at reasonable price together with such ancillary services as roads, drainage, water and security.
